Though I suppose we are a loving family and thus I must accept

Injected

Planted

Into the space of my head.

Hidden in salt water droplets,
The words that may never be said.

Give me skin unpicked
And teeth that do not grind.
Grant me passage to elude torment

- The prison I've made of my mind.

My verses are ugly and I admit to the fact
I can't use pretty language when I'm working with rap
Because the things that I write, are just the things that I feel
I ain't an Edgar Allan Poe or a Danielle Steel

And I'll be honest with you, I've got an envy inside
Because some poets got a flow that's as smooth as the tide
I read some stuff that they write, it's just so dope I ignite
Burning shame and my anger at the beautiful sight

And like birds of a feather, they're flocking together
These poets are the Gods and I'm nailed by the weather
But as the rain pours down, lightning resound;

As if answering the girl's solemnly spoken words, the summer wind blew across the empty roof in an almost excited fashion. It blew her nightgown against her legs as she turned to face it. The night was lit brightly by the shining buildings and streetlights, but all of them seemed dim to her.

"Why?" an angry voice cried out behind her, and even though she knew he was going to react this way, she couldn't help but flinch.

"You know why," she replied, her tone eerily calm. It was at that moment that she felt a hand grip her bare arm roughly. She began to wonder whether he knew how much he hurt her, if he knew tha

The White ThingsNothing is as far away as a minute ago.
No matter how hard you row against the tide
we can never reach it, never return there.

It's hard to sleep in the light of my regrets
that creeps through curtain and barriers
to rot away and bleach all things white.

It's hard to sleep knowing that no distance
is as far away as sixty small seconds ago.
Immalleable, we rot, and things turn white.

ParchmentI speared you with a   black-ink pen.
I tried to balance    the weight
of our weare-worn shoulders.
Tried to counter   it with beauty
and hopefulness , with my hopes,
persistence &   with my dark love.
They came to see it in hundreds,
Droves, of   similarly seeking
hope and a reason to continue.
Reasons to love, even when it
hurts. Reasons to try when the
vast weight of differences 'tween
us can't be fixed by adding
a single strike of strength

I've never done a comp before, so I thought, ah! What the heck, let's give it a shot! It's the first poem I've done too...
Anyway, I also meant to say, nice work on the diaries!! I haven't read all of them, but what I saw was great! Were'd you get the photo of Nina by the way? It's exactly how I imagined her!! Nice one of Lance and Ray too!!

Oh, and thank you! I found that image of the model who looked almost exactly how I pictured Nina, and then altered it to fit her more. I'll be posting the other characters just like that except for two, where I couldn't find a good model for them (Tick and Burk)

Yes, I do ^^

Oh, one is Part One A, and the other is Part One B. I had to divide Nina Part One into two separate deviations so I wasn't throwing too much at people, since her chapter is over 10,000 words long. So yeah, the newest one is basically just the second part to the first part. If that makes sense '^-^
